Astrakhan Investment Commissioners enhance their competencies at the federal level

From August 19 to 20, Tyumen hosts a federal internship for municipal investment commissioners and specialists in investment development of territories. 

The event was organized by the National Association of Investment and Development Agencies (NAAIR) with the support of the Russian Ministry of Economic Development and the Agency for Strategic Initiatives.

The Astrakhan Region is represented by Alexander Orlov, Head of the Investment Project Support Department at the Development Corporation, as well as municipal investment commissioners of the Akhtuba, Kamyzyaksky and Privolzhsky districts. The delegation of the region actively participated in the business program, the purpose of which is to introduce best practices in field work.

The internship is conducted as part of the implementation of the Municipal Investment Standard approved by Order No. 672 of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation dated September 26, 2023, and is aimed at developing the Institute of Municipal Investment Commissioners. The event continues the series of All-Russian forums of municipal investment commissioners and offers municipal teams a new training format that is as practice-oriented and interactive as possible.

The participants focused on the most pressing issues of developing the investment climate in municipalities:

modern tools and mechanisms for working with investors;
· successful practices of investment development of territories;
· results of the annual study of the Municipal Investment Standard;
· methodology for the formation of the rating of investment attractiveness of municipalities.

The participation of the Astrakhan delegation in the internship will allow not only to adopt effective regional practices, but also to strengthen professional ties, as well as increase competencies in the field of attracting investments, which will contribute to improving the investment climate of the Astrakhan region.
