The sports complex in Salty Zaymishche continues to expand with the support of the Astrakhan Region Development Corporation. A press tour was organized for journalists of the federal and regional mass media to the multifunctional sports complex named after Hero of the Soviet Union N.Z. Popov, which today is deservedly considered a point of attraction for both professional athletes and fans of an active lifestyle.
The sports complex is located in the village of Saline Zaymishche, Chernoyarsk district. The investor was the president of the All-Russian public organization "Shooting Sports Federation", Honored coach of Russia Valery Ashikhmin.

The project is being implemented with the assistance of the Astrakhan Region Development Corporation, which has offered the sports complex administration a personal roadmap of support. The assistance includes consultations on the preparation of applications for subsidies, assistance in the execution of investment agreements and interaction with relevant ministries.

Today, the Corporation supports 41 investment projects with a total investment volume of over 69 billion rubles. The organization also performs the functions of a guarantee fund and guides investors from the idea to the commissioning of the facility.

The sports complex covers the needs of several groups at once: professional athletes, residents passing the TRP standards, and young people learning how to fly unmanned aerial vehicles, said Denis Mishchenko, Deputy General Director and Head of investment attraction projects at the Development Corporation. In addition, the appearance of a modern multifunctional facility increases the attractiveness of the territory for living and business. And the proven support model is replicated to other projects, making the region a convenient partner for investors.

The journalists were shown the facilities that receive visitors already now. Among them is a 1,200-square-meter indoor gym equipped with modern equipment, a basketball court with bleachers, safety nets and a full set of outdoor equipment, as well as a universal playground where you can practice fitness, workout and prepare for the TRP standards. Nonresident guests are offered accommodation in a comfortable hostel designed for 96 people.

The key object of the complex is the 50-meter-long Cheetah shooting range. He has over 300 weapons in his arsenal, has experienced instructors, and uses Valery Ashikhmin's patented safe shooting system. It blocks the trigger if the barrel is not aimed at the target.

The sports complex is ready to host competitions of the highest rank, including international ones. On the day of the journalists' visit, the Russian Crossbow Shooting Championship, Cup and Championship were held here, which brought together teams and judges from different regions of the country.

And in between tournaments, life is in full swing here. There are 12 sections of basketball, volleyball, football, handball, archery, table tennis and others. Anyone can come to the training. About a hundred children gather on weekends, not only from Salty Zaimishche, but also from neighboring villages: Cherny Yar, Grachi, Nikolskoye, Tsagan Aman. In four years, six masters of sports and two international masters of sports have grown out of rural children. Classes are free for local residents, both children and adults.

Outside the sports complex, in the field, the scope of the territory is especially noticeable. At the same time, less than half has been built up so far. Ambitious plans are ahead.
"The construction of a swimming pool for everyone, not just athletes, is now being completed. A medical center is also being completed. Physiotherapy and physical therapy courses will be organized for villagers, athletes and everyone who wants to, ultrasound machines and a hospital will be launched," says Maxim Salishchev, president of the Federation of Shooting and Other Sports of the Astrakhan region.
A new section has recently opened. The guys are learning how to control drones and are already winning first places at the Russian championships.

Adaptive sports for ITS participants is a separate promising area. "This is an important problem: the guys are returning from the front line, and we need to support them in difficult times, help them rebuild from military life to everyday life," Maxim Salishchev emphasizes.

The project does not stop there - a new stage of infrastructure expansion and strengthening is ahead. And the complex will continue this path with the support of the Astrakhan Region Development Corporation, which has already established itself as a reliable partner that accompanies initiatives from idea to implementation. The joint work will allow not only to complete the facilities that have been started, but also to bring the rural area to a new level of sports and investment attractiveness.
